Don’t Let These Bugs – “Bug” You
Many of us think of are home as a place we like to eat, sleep, relax, and spend time with our family. The problem is there are many other unwanted guests that feel the same way about our home like – mice, rats, cockroaches, ants, termites, fleas, and squirrels. This is just to name a few of the pest and vermin that we want to keep out of our homes.
The main problem with most of these pests is they don’t want you to know that they are there and that’s half the battle. Lets take a closer look at some of these pests and how they like to live and eat so that we can better understand how to keep them out.
Cockroaches are one of the most hated of all bugs. They will corrupt any food sources they can get to and once they have multiplied – you will find that they get to smelling really bad in large groups. But most of the time they don’t like to be bothered so they will stay in the dark if they can.
These vermin grow very rapidly so its important to find were in your house they like to stay during the day. The best way to do this is to enter a vary dark room very quietly wait a moment or two and then turn on the lights pay very close attention to where they scattered off to.
Rats, mice and squirrels are larger pest that spread disease into your food supply if they can. Its important that you keep your unrefrigerated food tightly sealed. Mice have the ability to enter into your home through very small openings so make sure do eliminate any opportunity they might have to get through.
Rats and squirrels are quite a bit worse – in the fact that they can seriously do damage to you and your home. Squirrels are known for gnawing on electrical wires – this can become a serious fire hazard for your home.
